Executive Byline: Crypto Building

A renewable energy crypto investment? Count me in.

One real estate agency is constructing the first “crypto building” in the world. “Next Pampa 2.0” in Argentina will have more than 100 apartments, many of which are already sold.

What makes this building a crypto building is the Bitcoin mining facility that will occupy its basement. Dollars generated from the mining facility will be used to cover building maintenance fees so residents won’t have to pay them. Residents will receive excess mining profits as a residential perk.

What’s more is that the building will be constructed in Argentina, where renewable energy resources are cheaper than fossil fuels. The building will be entirely powered by sustainable solar energy which provides insulation from Bitcoin price volatility.
