From Hawaii to Hannover – Artist Showcases Abstract Portraits

Chelsea invites you to the opening of her debut exhibition “Impressions of you” on 15 August, 2025 at 19:00 at the Bürgerschule Hannover. Members of the press are warmly invited to attend and cover the event in advance.

Born in Los Angeles, raised in Hawaii, emerged in New York, and globally traveled, Chelsea has translated her human interactions into a striking series of bright, colorfully-drawn abstract portraits.

Regardless of the points on the emotion spectrum on which image lands, the bold, geometric images are meant to inspire imagination and feeling beyond the border of the page, and convey the unique puzzle, strength, and beauty of aliveness.

Now based in Hannover, Chelsea is showcasing for the first time her tributes to the humans she experienced here, there, and everywhere.
